Our Perfect Day: The Reception, Part II

After dinner and the formal dances the dance floor opened up for all of our guests:

We had several people tell us that they had never danced so much at a wedding. Mission accomplished! I attribute this to our AWESOME DJ- DJ Jeremy Gearries of DJs Direct (Jeremy also happens to be the owner of the company)! DJ Jeremy played everything from Bon Jovi to Journey to current Top 10 music.

I was a dancing fool that night! We attempted to visit every table but once the music started people left their tables so it was impossible. Hubs and I gave up and found the dance floor! Ha!

Our nieces dancing together! Soooo cute!

My MOH, Paloma, and I. I am pretty sure that all Paloma and I do when we are together is laugh. This picture definitely sums up our friendship- fun and full of laughs!

1, 2, 3......
Our bouquet toss song was to Cyndi Lauper- Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (I love me some 80's)

Oh yes.......he did do that! The video is even funnier because Hubs started a couple feet in front of me with his back facing me. He then dropped down to the floor on his back and scooted himself underneath my dress. It looked like a mechanic scooting himself under a car. Sooooooo appropriate! Riiiiiight

Our garter toss song was to Black Eyed Peas- I Got a Feeling
Hubs jokingly wanted the garter toss song to be to Bad Girlfriend by Theory of a Deadman originally.......of course I said no.......inapporpriate!!! lol

My little dancing partner!!!! She was a dancing queen! She would run away from her 'Papa' because he made her take a break at one point (just once) and from then on out she was afraid he was going to make her leave the dance floor.

Very classy.........a groomsman with the garter around his head! Love it!

Our photographer, Angela, left around 11pm (the wedding went until midnight) which may have been a good thing! There was definitely some craziness towards the end! College friends and family + free, open bar = Absolutely crazy/hysterical times! One example- one of my bridesmaids who shall remain anonymous definitely did the worm on the dance floor, in her bridesmaid dress and had a minor dress malfunction! Good times, good times!

Our videographer, Indy Visual, posted a clip from our wedding day here. Go check it out, I will wait for you to come back! :-)

Didn't they do a fantastic job?!? I have received the DVD of our wedding day and I absolutely LOVED it!!!!! I can't thank Bob and Rich (our videographers) and Angela R. Talley (our photographer) enough for the great job they did! Now I will always be able to relive our wedding day through video and pictures! :-)

My wedding was everything and even more than I ever dreamed of thanks in large part to my parents and Hubs' parents! Hubs and I had an amazing time! We both wish that we could have slowed down time because like everyone will tell you......it was over in a blink of the eye!

For all of you soon-to-be brides out there: good luck and have fun with the planning process! The day will come and go faster than you will ever believe!!!!! On your wedding day, take a step back and let everything soak in, sneak away with your husband to share in a private moment and enjoy the time with your friends and family because after all they are celebrating your marriage with you!

To all my readers- thank you so much for all of your words of encouragement, sweet comments, and advice along the way! I have really enjoyed reading your feedback throughout my planning process and recaps! Thanks for taking the time to read my little blog and I hope you all enjoyed what I have had to share! I don't want to sound creepy or anything but I do consider you all friends! Thank you for allowing me to share a little piece of my life with all of you!

So, where do I go from here?!? Well, you will just have to wait until my next post to find out! I know, suspensful........right......it really isn't, I promise! Until then I would love to hear from all of you! My google reader and I are dying for more blogs to follow! Leave me a comment with your blog name so that I can add you to my neglected google reader.....wedding blogs, life blogs, DIY blogs, nesting blogs, etc. I want to hear from you! Thank you in advance! :-)

Have a wonderful Wednesday!!!!
