Rain {Sigh}
Dear Rain,
Your constant presence lately is starting to wear out its welcome {ummmm....about 3 weeks ago to be exact}. I know that you make my flowers and grass green and beautiful but I am pretty sure they too could use a break from you {before they drown}. I think you need to give Mr. Sunshine some time to come out and play. So stop being so selfish!
And as if Mondays aren't hard enough, waking up in the morning when you are around is ten times harder. I just want to stay in bed all day snuggled up under my blankets with Hubs and my puppies when you are here. You really need to work on your timing!
Lastly, your presence kind of ruins a lot of my plans. For instance, I won't be able to take my nice long run outside after work tonight since you are here. Hubs and I won't be able to grill out. And grocery shopping with you around just plain sucks!
So, I would really appreciate it if you just took a break for a bit or worked on your timing. Feel free to come around anytime after 10pm but make sure you are gone before 6am. I know this sounds harsh but since you haven't listened to any of my previous pleas I feel the need to get to the straight to the point.

Couldn't agree more with your post to Mr. Rain. My petunias are DROWNING from all this rain. I would love to take Dixie for a run - but she's too much of a priss to deal with the rain.
