A Successful Birthday
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I know I sure did despite the gloomy weather!
Friday night Hubs and I went to Tastings for dinner with another couple. It was a blast and I will be sure to do a recap of the night soon!
On Saturday, Hubs and I sneaked out of the house to go play 18 holes of golf before celebrating Buerly's birthday. The weather looked a little menacing but luckily it held off and we were able to play an entire round.
Once we got home it was time to celebrate!
As promised, here are some pictures from Buerly's 4th birthday!

The birthday boy's cake from 3 Dog Bakery. It was peanut butter flavored and looked good enough to eat! I may or may not have tried a smidgen of the icing.
Buerly and Rooney patiently waiting for the cake and presents!
Buerly chowing down on cake on our deck. Our neighbors dog, Mac, was going to come over to join in the festivities but unfortunately they were out to dinner. But since I love Mac I saved her a slice! :-)
Half dog, half lizard. Check out that freakishly long tongue!!!! Rooney's attempt to eat cake was less than graceful! Hence the reason we made the dogs eat cake on the deck.
Buerly attempting to open his presents. Rooney is obviously a tad bit jealous of all the toys.
"Stay away from my ball!"
Happy boys!
Buerly's birthday was a success! One happy, tuckered out puppy and his football!
(Don't mind the blanket.....we threw that on the couch so that they wouldn't slobber/scratch the furniture. I promise.....we do not have leopard print furniture! lol)
All in all we had a very relaxing weekend. The dogs were still worn out on Sunday so Hubs and I took advantage and went on a bike ride while Buerly and Rooney lounged around the house. The rest of our Sunday was spent lounging with the dogs and watching movies. I guess that is what gloomy weather will do to ya!
Have a great Monday!!!!

Did you guys get yourself some cake to celebrate with too?
Oh and I was going to ask you - Wilson will ONLY sleep in his kennel.... I am always wanting him to cuddle on the couch with me but it's not happening... it's probably something he has to learn how to do right? (Okay, please don't laugh at me if that question was super stupid!!)
