Our Perfect Day: Pre-Ceremony
After we were done taking pictures at St. Elmo's we headed to the Scottish Rite Cathedral for formal pictures/family pictures. We did have a little bit of down time so we took full advantage of it. I made the GM move the couch so Hubs and I could get some pictures on the couch. Okay, I didn't exactly make them.....I asked nicely!
I have a WAY cuter picture of us sitting on the couch but unfortunately the file size was too large to upload. I look so classy with no shoes on! ha!
My daddy getting some help with his bout from Ashley, the SRC event coordinator.
This is how the front of the theatre was set up. I loved the ferns with the big floral centerpiece.
Now you can see our bouquets and bouts! :-)
Us ladies had to show the boys how it was done!
Obviously they did not take notes! It took a couple tries before we could get a good picture due to the laughing/goofing off!
Hub's brother-in-law decided to plant a kiss on his check. The picture to the right shows my reaction to this. I was amused!
Both sets of parents! Love them!
Can I just say that I LOVED my train and my veil?!?
I was definitely starting to get antsy by this point. I wanted to get the show on the road so I could marry my best friend!
A little windage! As you can see the rain stopped so we were able to run outside before the ceremony to capture a few more pictures!
This picture was on my 'must have' list. I love how it turned out but we darn near got ran over trying to get it. Note to others- busy streets can sometimes make it hard to get a good shot not to mention you don't have much time! Oh, and some drivers are not considerate. They don't care that it is your wedding day and that you are trying to get that perfect shot. All they care about is getting from point A to B as quickly as possible. lol
I loved our location. Architecturally speaking, it was gorgeous!
