Random Musings

Sorry blogland friends! My brain is still in bed asleep this morning so this post is going to be pretty random.
  • Oh my gosh! I am so INCREDIBLY exhausted! It was after 1am before I was in bed.  I am really going to need the largest can of Sugar Free Redbull that they make today.  Do you think anyone would notice if I crawled under my desk and took a nap today at work?!
  • My Butler Bulldogs lost to those who we shall not mention.  But in the end, I am so very proud of our boys.  They played their hearts out and were a class act! Not to mention the fact that the game came down to the last second. Pretty darn impressive!
  • Our neighbors {their backyard backs up to our backyard} mowed their lawn on Saturday. Now I feel like I need to mow ours.  Darn them! This chore will also consist of 'pooper scooping' an entire yard from over the winter. Can't wait!
  • I had the weirdest/scariest dreams last night.  I dreamt that our yard was infested with snakes while I was trying to mow it.  Now I am dreading mowing even more. {sigh}
  • My mom {she's the bestest.....I know, not a word} brought me Kolaches from the Kolache Factory for breakfast/lunch! YUM!!!
  • I should go running after work but I am so tired......maybe I will make mowing the yard my work out.
  • I heart my new iPod shuffle.  It doesn't have any bells or whistles but it gets the job done, aka- makes my fat butt run without getting too bored or distracted.
  • Is it sad that I don't want Tiger to win the Masters because I am so sick of hearing about him and his family in the media?!  You all know that if he wins you will NEVER hear the end of it! Oh and if I were one of the other pro golfers at the Masters I would be PISSED about the media/circus Tiger has brought to such a prestigious tournament.
  • I hate laundry.  I don't mind throwing laundry in the washer and dryer but I LOATHE folding and putting it away.  The only thing that is worse than folding and putting away laundry is matching socks.
  • We saw Nick Lachey and Peyton Manning at the Final Four on Saturday.  Nick Lachey is really short!
  • So excited that it is going to be 81 and sunny today.  Definitely think we should grill out tonight!
  • Buerly and Rooney were sound asleep on the couches when I left for work......VERY jealous!
  • I can't wait for Glee and Secret Life of the American Teenager to eventually start back up with new episodes {granted I have a longer wait for Secret Life}.
  • I am pretty sure a large percentage of our neighborhood is currently pregnant or just had a kid.  Some lucky teenagers are going to be making some good money babysitting in the future!
  • First I lose the cord to my camera and now I have lost the battery charger for my camera.......oh eff!
  • Our groomer called to let us know that she is having knee surgery and won't be back until June.  So you all know what that means, right!? Either a.) I get to bathe tweedle dee and tweedle dum or b.) I find another groomer who will take tweedle dee and tweedle dum.  This could be entertaining!

Okay, I am sneaking outta here to go grab a Red Bull from the gas station! Have a wonderful Tuesday!

One of my favorite things about visiting Indy is when my dad gets Kolaches. AND I'm so so jealous you saw Peyton!

I stumbled across your blog this morning - it's absolute perfection! Your puppies are too cute - we have two boxers. Isn't it great how they make it seem like a real family?

I hated to see Butler lose last night. I'm from NC - but HATE Duke so I was really pulling for you guys. They played a great game though.

Can't wait to read more!

Is it bad that I think about taking a nap under my desk...every single day? I had a friend that did that once and actually got fired!!!

Um, quick question on the ipod shuffle...do you have the new one that just came out? Its kind of long and doesn't have a volume button on the pod, but the earphones? I'm curious because I've been eyeing up the shuffle (the square one) and just when I decided to buy it, they upgrade the shuffle to these new ones...but they kind of scare me. So any feedback would be lovely pretty lady!!
I was proud of Butler too! It was so, so, so close. I wanted them to win. Sigh.

Totally agree about Tiger. Super, super, super over hearing about him. Forever.
