With a new year comes lots to do! My florist (
David) told me that after the new year we would get together and get down and dirty creating the centerpieces for my wedding. Well, it is 2009 and I need to really think about what my vision is for our reception centerpieces.
Our reception is in the grand ballroom at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. The ballroom has a gold tone to the room that makes it feel very royal/elegant. My wedding colors are taupe and champagne and I have decided that I want to add another accent color to the color scheme for the centerpieces.
Green- with the room having a gold hue I think that green would really pop! All accents will stick to our main wedding colors (taupe and champagne) but I really want the centerpieces to be tall, lush, and green. Here are some pictures that I found of green centerpieces-

I LOVE the idea of having a wine or champagne bottle as the table number!!! Must remember this for my wedding!

Any thoughts or suggestions?!?

I love the first and second-to-last photos, they are gorgeous!
Love that last picture!
Ooh, I LOVE Scottish Rite! If my wedding was a bit bigger, that would have been my top pick for a reception site! It's so glamorous and regal :)
