Cheers!

One of the things floating in the back of mind are toasting flutes. It really isn't a big deal but I know that it is something that I will eventually have to tackle.

Well, consider the champagne flutes officially tackled! My mother so eagerly reminded me of a very special gift I received a little over 9 years ago from my parents.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you......

.......the Waterford Millennium Toasting Flutes. My mom and dad had purchased these for me in 1999 knowing that the flutes would 1.) be a collectors item and 2.) that I would eventually get married and need toasting flutes. These flutes are very special to me since they came from my parents and are no longer made. Hopefully these babies don't get broken (Stephanie- please make sure that I don't break these!!!!)

Are you using a special glass for your toast?

So cute!! We used special glasses to toast - they said "Bride" and "Groom" on them. We still have them on a shelf in our living room!
Hi there and Congrats! My husband gave me those exact flutes for Christmas in 1996 with his grandmother's wedding set tucked inside them and proposed to me in front of his entire family that Christmas Eve. We were married the following August and of course used them to toast at our wedding. Each year he gave me the next pair of Waterford stems until we completed the series. I love mine and we use them, often. The Happiness flutes are in an area of my china cabinet with our Lenox bride and groom cake topper and some other items we acquired on our honeymoon. Enjoy yours!
