I have a severe case of.....

spring fever!  

Dear Winter,

I promise, I will make this short and sweet.  I welcomed you and embraced you when you came to town back in November/December but you are beginning to overstay your welcome.  Your dreary skies, snow and cold temperatures are no longer welcome here.  I hate to say this, but you are beginning to depress me.  I am asking nicely that you bow out........leave town quietly and without protest.  Obviously I will welcome you back next December but for now it is time that your friend, Spring, step in.  Thank you in advance for understanding!

I miss planting flowers in my flower beds, wearing summer clothes (swim suits, shorts, tank tops, and cute little sundresses), driving with my sunroof open and windows down, and the smell of fresh cut grass.

I miss {dare I say it} mowing the lawn {GASP!!! She did just say it!!!}

I miss watching Buerly and Rooney chase squirrels up trees thinking they have a chance in hell of catching a squirrel or a bird.  Or watching Rooney sunbathe on the deck while Buerly finds some shade to lounge under with his ball.

I miss being able to run outdoors without freezing my butt off {if only I could freeze 5-10lbs off my butt then maybe I could deal with running outside in the winter}.  And let's face it, I am TERRIBLE when it comes to going to the gym to work out.  I get bored and don't really care for that sweaty locker room smell.  Running outside is much more entertaining and refreshing {pretty sure I have Exercise A.D.D.}.

I miss flip flops and leaving the house without a coat.  

Anyone still reading?!? If you stuck with me through all of this jibberish then you must agree with me that I have a severe case of Spring Fever!  I could go on forever about all the things that I miss but I will spare you.  Pretty sure you get the idea! ;-)

Oh, and waking up to another dusting of snow this morning just reinforced the fact that I am COMPLETELY over winter!!!!! Ugh!  Anyone else out there starting to get spring fever?!?
